Nativity Fiesta!

Free Medical Clinic in Reynosa, Mexico

Neighborhood  families gather on the street as the Christmas Fiesta begins, sponsored by the health Clinic Ministry in Reynosa, Mexico.

The neighborhood children take turns swinging at the traditional star-shaped piņata, which is filled with Christmas candies and treats. A "newer" home built in the squatter's village, former site of a city dump and a brick factory, which is called the "Solares Colonia." After every flood, cold spell, or rain storm, there are always illnesses, injuries, or deaths to the residents of this fragile and impoverished colonia. Streets and homes of the Solares Colonia, the adjoining neighborhood from which comes  most of the Evan's free Health Clinic's clientele. Without this clinic, most of the people would have absolutely NO medicine or health care whatsoever.
