Visit to Casa Amparo Girl's Orphanage In Reynosa, Mexico Part 2

Reader Stephen and Father Antonio converse in Spanish with Mother Superior Natividad. A beautiful Spanish style hand carved door graces the entrance to the Monastery Church. Dormitories. living and dining quarters for some of the younger girls at Casa Amparo.

Father Antonio, Mother Natividad, Mike, and Paula Price all visit as we tour the monastery grounds and orphanage.

St. George's Father Antonio and the orphanage's Mother Superior are greeting some of the girls who live at the orphanage.

An outdoor laundry area for the girls and Mothers. Note the barbed wire topped walls, which are a necessary protection in this area.

Some friendly "Winter Texans" painted this Noah's Ark mural and build a small playground for the children. Entrance to the lovely small prayer chapel dedicated to the Theotokos, which is on the monastery grounds. One of the Sisters with Father Antonio and one of our young parishioners pause in front of the Church as we tour the grounds.
