|
After the visiting Protodeacon censed the Church, Reader Spyridon chanted the appointed verses from the Psalter (Psalms), after which the Choir responded to the verses with "Lord I call upon Thee", sung to the tone of the Week. The text comes from the Psalms beginning " Lord I call upon Thee, Hear me! Hear me, O Lord! Lord I call upon Thee, receive the voice of prayer when I call unto Thee, hear me, O Lord!" |
